Sunmo has it’s roots in Nigeria. Now based in London, they make West African inspired snacks, from fiery plantain crisps to sweet potato puffs. On launch they needed a brand and pack design that would disrupt the F&B scene and stand out on shelf.
In Nigeria, the word ‘Sunmo’ is used to describe the moments when people come together to share in life, laughter, and food. Inspired by this spirit Sunmo pledge that every bag sold goes towards a meal for a child in need in Nigeria. We created a standalone copy line to encompass this philosophy and initiative.
After 4 months of launching, Sunmo are now stocked in Selfridges Food Hall, Whole Foods, 120+ independent retail locations and have won 2 Great Taste Awards. And more importantly given back to the Nigerian community through their purpose driven initiative. We look forward to helping them drive their business further in the coming years.
