The Martin Parr Foundation was founded in 2017 to support and preserve the legacy of photographers who made, and continue to make, important work focussed within the British Isles. We worked closely with them on the new brand identity, signage, print and digital communications.
Martin Parr has a self confessed ‘gene of collecting.’ Porcelain space dogs, a 12,000+ photobook collection, dictatorship paraphernalia or iconic images depicting 80’s seaside resorts, Parr has always been a magpie. This soon became our focus for the brand identity.
Studio Thomas quickly and efficiently developed an identity for the foundation that epitomises the playful tone synonymous with Martin’s works whilst giving us flexibility when showcasing the works of others.
